Another opportunity will be at 7:00 pm ET (See below)

Philippians 4 tells us, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (verse 6 NLT).

Instead of worrying during this pandemic, we should be praying! And that’s just what we intend to do—along with the rest of the nation, during the National Day of Prayer, which is this Thursday!

We’re joining with Pastor Jack Graham and the pray.com team to pray for our communities, our states, our nation, and the world. We will pray for our leaders, the worldwide church, and so much more.

Guest speakers include:
  • Sec. of State Mike Pompeo
  • Sen. Marco Rubio
  • Sen. Tim Scott
  • Greg Laurie
  • Jack Graham
  • Tim Clinton
  • Joni Eareckson Tada
  • Tony Evans
  • Jentezen Franklin
  • Franklin Graham
  • Skip Heitzig
  • Chris Hodges
  • David Jeremiah
  • Levi Lusko
  • Gregg Matte
  • Eric Metaxas
  • Johnnie Moore
  • Robert Morris
  • Samuel Rodriguez
  • Sheila Walsh
Will you pray with us? The service will be live-streamed on my Facebook page at 4:00 PM Pacific this Thursday.

We have more reason to join together and pray than we ever have before. Let’s humbly come before the Lord and make our requests know to Him, and thank Him for all He has given to us!

Don’t miss this opportunity!

In Christ,
Pastor Greg Laurie

EVENT DETAILS

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation.
It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Our Task Force is a privately funded organization whose purpose is to encourage participation on the National Day of Prayer. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. The Task Force represents a Judeo Christian expression of the national observance, based on our understanding that this country was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible.

Fasting and prayer are religious exercises; the enjoining them an act of discipline. Every religious society has a right to determine for itself the time for these exercises, and the objects proper for them, according to their own particular tenets; and right can never be safer than in their hands, where the Constitution has deposited it. – Thomas Jefferson, 1808
